Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using SnowDayAlarm ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
Description of Service
SnowDayAlarm provides snow day predictions based on official NOAA weather data and proprietary algorithms. Our service includes:
- Weather-based school closure predictions
- Interactive snow day probability maps
- Multi-factor analysis using government weather data
- Educational information about weather prediction methodologies
Important Disclaimers

Acceptable Use
You agree to use SnowDayAlarm only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the service without permission
- Use automated systems to access the service in ways that send more requests than a human could reasonably produce
Intellectual Property
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SnowDayAlarm and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Weather data is provided by NOAA/National Weather Service and remains in the public domain.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall SnowDayAlarm, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Data Sources and Attribution
Our predictions are based on data from:
- NOAA National Weather Service: Official weather forecasts and observations
- NWS Gridpoint Data: High-resolution weather grid data
- PWPF Maps: Probabilistic Winter Weather Forecasts
All government weather data remains in the public domain. Our proprietary algorithms and analysis are protected intellectual property.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
Governing Law
